Tornado Lions will participate in the Nomndayi Easter tournament

The Tornado Lions request donations.

Kwa-Thema – Because Nomndayi will have an Easter knockout from April 7-10, Tornado Lions is seeking financial assistance because they will participate in the tournament.

The team is requesting a soccer kit, food and refreshments for the team for the duration of the tournament and also transportation from Tornado to Ntokozweni.

Team manager John Thulane Nkosi said, “We want our young boys not to partake in substance and alcohol abuse.

“A donation to our team will mean a lot because the contribution will help develop the team, build hope for a better future and give the opportunity for the boys to further their dreams.”

The club’s chairperson, Sipho Maseko, said, “We entered the tournament because there will be talent scouts there, and we want to give our boys exposure while showcasing their raw talent.”

Maseko said people should come in their numbers to the tournament to see kasi football with some kasi flavour.

“We are not going to the tournament just to add numbers. We are going there to bring back the glory to Tornado.
