Refiloe to play in the Inter-Provincial Championships
Refiloe raises the Duduza flag high.
Duduza – Refiloe Tshabalala from Eyethu Badminton participated in the U15 Open in Alberton on Saturday.
She lost to Emi Li in the singles final but bagged herself a silver medal. She partnered with Lyala Liu in the women’s doubles, and they lost in the final to bag the silver medal.
The next Open she will participate in will be in Pretoria on March 18.
Coach Bongani Simelane said, “With these games, Tshabalala is improving drastically and preparing for the SA U15 Open Inter-Provincial Championships in Cape Town (at the John Tyres Badminton Hall in Keniworth) from April 2 to 7.
“She is holding our flag high.”
Simelane said he was delighted with the performances.
