A victorious Sunday for Bazingeli as they walk away with three goals and a championship cup
Bazingeli walked away winners at the Ingqayizele pre-season championship
Tsakani – On Sunday, the Malandela ground was the place to be as Zethembe took on Bazingeli and battled for the Ingqayizele pre-season championship.
The first goal for Bazingeli came from a penalty kick by Sfanele “Sfax” Mthembu minutes into the first half of the game.
At halftime, Bazingeli had a one-goal advantage, although Zethembe was continuing to play well.
“I think it’s every player’s dream to score in the final because they will always remember you for that. I want to thank again the coach and chairperson of the team, VV Khumalo, for believing in me,” said Mthembu.

Bazingeli won the tournament with three goals and the championship trophy. Throughout the game, Zethembe underwent four changes, while Bazingeli underwent five.
“I’m happy we are the new champions. It was a brilliant match and as per our prediction of a 4 -0 win, we only managed to score 3 goals overall. It was a great performance”, said Bazingeli’s coach Vusi Yaya Khumalo.
Zethembe coach Sithembiso Mnisi said I would like to congratulate the champions because they played good football. As much as we are not proud of our loss, we are grateful that we were the runners-up of the pre-season cup.
