Redeem United lose 2-0 to Kwa-Thema Clever Boys

Kwa-Thema – A thrilling U13 friendly game saw the Kwa-Thema Clever Boys beating Redeem United 2-0 at the Sports Complex on Saturday.

Both the goals were seen in the first half being scored by Themba Hlongwane, one in 15 minutes and the other towards the end of the first half.

There were no goals scored in the second half and Redeem United failed to equalise.

Redeem United co-coach Lungile Nkosi said the boys played well and it showed that they are improving in the sport.

“I saw the fruits of the work we put in during practice and I am very happy about that,” said Nkosi.

Kwa-Thema Clever Boys coach Sifiso Sibiya said, “We had a good game. I now know which points to look at during practice and what to rectify moving forward.”
