Five boys from Kwa-Thema were selected for the regional league
The boys now have a chance to be selected to the Technical Director of SAFA's tournament.
Kwa-Thema – Five soccer players from Kwa-Thema are still in with a shot to make the Ekurhuleni regional U15 squad.
The Springs LFA chose the players as part of a squad of 48 from different teams within the LFA during selections at the Germiston City Sports Grounds on Sunday. This squad will be cut to at least 18 players durign the final camp.
The final squad will play in a SAFA tournament, playing against other metro teams in preparation for the Talent Development Scheme Interprovincial Tournament scheduled for July.
The players selected are Dalokuhle Snoek, Mzwakhe Sithole, Thabang Maimane, Kagiso Kobue and Ntokozo Mbokazi.

After four months, the LFA Junior League will resume for a new season on Saturday. The association has finally overcome the challenge of having a few teams register on time.
LFA’s committee member for registration and competitions, Tebogo Mdhluli, said: “The league was supposed to have started in February. However, most teams took time to affiliate, which led to us starting the league this Saturday.”
Mdhluli said 22 teams are participating in the league and only 11 have paid for cards. The other teams will lose points during the season until they pay for the cards.
