Duduza – A hijacked silver Ford Ranger was recovered in Bluegumview on Tuesday.
The car was stolen in Benoni on Saturday.
Duduza police spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka said police were alerted by a neighbourhood watch group after they saw the vehicle parked in the garage at one of the houses.
“The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen and was seized. The owner of the house was not available and is being sought by the police.
“Police continue to monitor the theft and hijacking of vehicles in and around Duduza and are optimistic that they will keep the community safe,” he added.
