Things heat up as soccer league almost draws to a close
Sander United was toppled from first place by Valencia FC.
Kwa-Thema – It’s still anyone’s game in the Springs LFA Super League. The three top teams on the log, Reedville United FC, Sander United FC and Valencia FC, are still in the running to become the champions in three weeks when the season ends.
Valencia FC toppled Sander United from the number-one position after Sander United was tops for the entire season.
The Kwa-Thema Sports Complex was packed with fans on Sunday when everyone wanted to cheer for their team.
The results were as follows:

• Sanders United FC 2-4 Valencia FC
• Reedville United 2-0 XI Experience FC
• Sibiya FC 4-0 Springs FC
• Real Barcelona FC 1-3 Young Masters FC
• Nkele Smiling Bees FC 4-2 Jealous Down FC
• Mighty Falcons FC 4-0 Kwa-Thema United
• Payneville Stars 0-0 Black Fighters FC
• Barcelona All Nation FC 0-2 Mangethe Sporting FC
Young Masters, in fourth place, still has a game in hand. Masters still run a chance of winning the league if the top three teams lose or draw all their remaining games.
