Eight teams make it to the quarter-finals
Old-timers are seeing their way to the finals.
Kwatsaduza – As the Chicken and Meat Co Cup Competition continued on Sunday, qualifying teams are now headed to the tournament’s quarter-finals.
The old timers are challenging each other as they all want to be the winners come July 2. Unfortunately, there can only be one winner and eight teams are battling it out for the trophy.
It was raining goals of threes and fives and these were the results:
- Duduza XI 5 -0 Amabhubezi
- Yebo Yes 5 – 0 PCF Masters
- 17 Masters 3 – 2 Geluksdal Masters
- Brothers Masters 3 – 3 All Nation
After all the qualifier rounds the following teams made it to the quarter-finals which will take place on June 18 at Ground 1 in Bluegumview, Duduza: All Nation, Brothers Masters, Wizard, 17 Masters, Yebo Yes, Bazingeli, Zethembe and Duduza XI.
The Chicken and Meat Co man of the match winners were:
-Bongani ‘Tower’ Mngwevu of Duduza XI
-Mlungisi ‘Chappies’ James of Yebo Yes
-Serame ‘Remza’ Shale of 17 Masters
-Thato ‘Dede’ Sekele of All Nation
