Sanders United clinch the Springs LFA super league
Sanders United is aiming for the SAB League.
Kwa-Thema – The Springs LFA held an award ceremony on Sunday at the African Reformed Church in SA in Nyanyadum to celebrate Sanders United for winning the super league.
SLFA competitions and registrations officer Tebogo Mdluli said they would only introduce more awards, such as the golden glove and the golden boot, in the coming seasons. However, only Sanders United as a team was awarded this season.
Sanders coach Vusi ‘Terror’ Zulu said he was happy to have won the league after 10 months of sleepless nights.
However, today they reaped the rewards of their hard work.

“This ceremony also means a lot to us as a team because it shows that hard work pays,” he said.
Zulu said their goal was to play in the SAB regional league.
“We will also start a development team which will continue with the LFA while the current ones focus on the SAB league, that’s if we do well in the playoffs to enter the SAB,” Zulu said.
The playoffs will take place over the next two weekends.
