Mathapelo wins another challenge

Tsakani– Senpai Mathapelo Sibeko represented Ferkkandos Karate Club during the Shinkyokushin Tournament held in TUT (Tshwane University of Technology) on Saturday.

The 21-year-old finished in third position in the girls’ open weight division. This was one of the many titles she won since she started fighting.

Sensei Linda Ngubane said he is proud of Sibeko’s continuous efforts to fly the club’s flag high.

“She continues to make us proud as the club and we are hoping that the young team members are learning from her and they too will make us proud. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be where she is,” said Ngubane.
