Social Club donates school shoes to learners

The club raised funds last October.

Kwa-Thema – The Home Sweepers Social Club from Kwa-Thema donated school shoes to 45 learners from nine schools on Friday.

This donation comes after the club raised funds last October for the programme.

The schools that benefited were Tlakula Secondary School, Phulong Secondary, Kenneth Masekela Secondary School, Nkumbulo Secondary School, Mzomtsha Primary School, Sechaba Primary School, Masimini Primary School, Job Maseko Primary School and Tsimong Primary School.

They donated shoes for five children per school.

The club’s chairperson, Meshack Mnguni, said this would not have been possible without the community’s support and that they were grateful.

“We appreciate all the support we got and all the donations we received when we were fundraising in October,” he concluded.
