The Pan-African Shotokan Karat-Do Federation hosted the Children's National Championship at the Kwa-Thema Old Age Home on April 27.

The Pan-African Shotokan Karat-Do Federation hosted the Children’s National Championship at the Kwa-Thema Old Age Home on April 27.

The winners were:

Kumite boys (four to six years):

  • First: Mpho Motsamai (Selcourt Dojo)
  • Second: Innocent Marnoolzi (Brakpan Dojo)

Kumite boys (seven to eight years):

  • First: Ruben Ndlovu (Brakpan Dojo)
  • Second: Musa Ndlovu (Selcourt Dojo)
  • Third: Khaleel Kassim (Randburg Dojo)

Kumite boys (nine to 10 years):

  • First: Siyabonga Shabangu (Brakpan Dojo)
  • Second: Godwell Khumbi (Sandton Dojo)
  • Third: Aiden Munongwa (Sandton Dojo)
