Learners excel in Maths Olympiad
School principal Thembeni Mdhluli congratulated the maths whizzes and thanked them for their achievement.
Tsakani – Six Mandlethu Primary School learners dominated the Maths Olympiad on May 16 when they competed with learners from 21 primary schools in the Tsakane and Geluksdal Cluster.
The cluster Maths Olympiad aimed to select three top achievers in Grades Four, Five and Six to represent the cluster at the district-level competition in August.
Five out of nine of the top achievers from the event are learners from Mandlethu Primary School.

“Sincerest gratitude to the hardworking teachers and parents for their unwavering support. Intensive practice is going on for the next leg of the competition. I am fully confident that on August 2, trophies and medals are coming home again, ” she concluded.
