Daveyton Hearts urge local athletes and runners of all fitness levels to enter the Daveyton Street Mile at Sinaba Stadium on August 25.
The event, organised by the Daveyton Hearts, made its return last year after a three-year absence due to financial issues.
It includes a 10km, 5km and one mile (1.6km) races.
Dayton Hearts chairperson, Dikeledi Nhlapo said entries for this event are open. She pleaded with community members to enter, saying their aim is to promote running in Daveyton.
Nhlapo added all finishers will be presented with medals, while the winners will each receive a prize.
