Mandla Mnisi has been doing karate for the past 20 years amd currently has nine karateka.

Dudokai Fhotokan Karate Dojo was recently opened at Centre, Tsakani by Sensei Mandla Mnisi who has been practicing karate for the past 20 years.

He has taken nine youngsters as his karateka and he hopes to mould them into young men/women who will be disciplined and courageous.

“Growing up, I was involved in fights a lot. When I was introduced to karate, I learned that I can channel my physical strength in a positive way. Karate not only teaches discipline but it builds character,” Mnisi said.

He encourages parents to enrol their children in karate classes to improve their physical and mental strength.
