The men were nabbed on January 20.

Tsakani- Members of the EMPD in conjunction with Drug Enforcement Unit officers arrested two men for dealing in illicit substances at the Langaville Taxi Rank on January 20.
According to CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, EMPD Specialised Services officers were performing law enforcement duties when they received information from crime intelligence about a suspicious pair selling illicit substances at the rank on Vlakfontein and Black roads.
“Officers acted on the information and proceeded to the identified location where they cornered a 41-year-old suspect with 36 small plastic packets of crystal meth with an estimated street value of R1 800.
“At the same taxi rank, officers intercepted a 36-year-old male with 10 rockets wrapped in silver foil with an estimated street value of R300 and R40 in cash,” said Dlamini.
The twosome was arrested and taken to the Tsakane SAPS. The illicit substances and cash were booked at the same police station.
The duo face charges of drug dealing and are expected to appear in the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court soon.
