EMPD arrests man for dealing in illicit substances

Kwa-Thema – EMPD and Community Liaison Unit officers arrested a 37-year-old man for dealing in illicit substances in the Kwa-Thema area on March 17.

“Following on information about an individual selling illegal substances in the community, officers visited a residence on Magiya Street.

“Upon arrival, they uncovered 13 ziplock packets containing dagga and 27 small newspaper-wrapped packages of dagga with an estimated street value of R330 and R380,” said CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.

The suspect will soon appear in court.
