Langaville youth win big at Team Talk Championship on Youth Day

Langaville’s youth shine at the Team Talk Championship series, with the U11 Early Birds taking top honours. Coaches call for community support and sponsors to keep the momentum going.

Langaville – Langaville’s U11 Early Birds were crowned champions of the Team Talk Championship Series held in Ext 5 on June 16.

The tournament brought together youth teams to celebrate Youth Day and showcase their talent. In the U15 division, the Black Stars claimed top honours, while the Sparrows took the U17 title.

“Langaville, where our tournament is based in Ext 5, is an underprivileged community facing high unemployment rates,” said coach Billy Manasoe.

“Any support would benefit our children and help us continue providing opportunities through sport.”

Manasoe added that the organisers seek sponsors to help take the championship to the next level.

“If you are interested in partnering with us, please get in touch.”

The next Team Talk Championship is on July 25 at the Kwa-Thema Stadium. For more information, call Manasoe on 068 807 3969.
