PAC to honour fallen heroes and their families

Kwa-Thema – The regional PAC will host an event on Saturday to honour members who died between 1992 and 1997.

The event will start with a visit to some of the graves at Rest In Peace Cemetery at 07:00. The programme will then move to Tlakula Secondary School at 09:00.

“Many of us sacrificed our comfort and slept in open velds for the liberation struggle.

“The event is meant to honour the fallen, but also to thank the families for allowing their children to fight,” explained Jerry Thabethe of the organisation.
