EMPD recovers hijacked bakkie abandoned near Duduza Taxi Rank

Kwa-Thema – EMPD Intervention Unit officers recovered a white Isuzu bakkie which had been reported hijacked, near the Duduza Taxi Rank on July 27.

While patrolling in Kwa-Thema, officers received information and GPS coordinates about a vehicle that had been reported hijacked in Daveyton.

The GPS coordinates led officers to the vicinity of the Duduza Taxi Rank, where they found the hijacked vehicle abandoned on the side of the road.

The vehicle was impounded at the Aeroton Police Pound for further investigation.
