Phumi KM inspires others at emotional Women’s Day event

Dozens of women came together in unity, strength, and purpose as Phumi KM shared her powerful journey of loss, faith, and resilience — all while taking a bold stand against gender-based violence.

Tsakani – Women of all ages came dressed in black when Phumi KM hosted a Women’s Day celebration at Grand Eat Out recently.

The motivational speaker and radio DJ said she draws inspiration from her own experience.

“I have gone from having everything to having nothing, and hitting rock bottom.

“I fell ill and was depressed for some time. But I knew that I had to get up and build my life,” she explained.

Phumla encouraged those in attendance to trust God’s timing and pray for strength to stand in all circumstances.

She said the event was aimed to take a stand against GBV in the community.
