EMPD nabs two for possession, suspected drug dealing in Tsakani

EMPD Drug Enforcement officers arrested two men and seized narcotics worth over R3 000 in Extension 17.

Tsakani – The EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit arrested two men in Tsakani on August 15.

The suspects were arrested for possession and suspected dealing of illegal substances in Extension 17.

“Officers, acting on intelligence linked to a previously arrested dealer, searched a residence on Unpaved and Ingolobane streets.

“The suspects, aged 32 and 37, were found with dagga, 39 Mandrax tablets and ziplock bags of crystal meth with an estimated street value of R3 300,” explained CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.

“Both suspects were arrested and charged with possession and dealing with illegal substances.”

They are expected to appear at the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court soon.
