The Ken Gampu Theatre will showcase a play, Flower of the Nation, written and directed by Thabang Mboshane. The play will start at 15:00. For more information, call Mboshane on 084 954 5844.
• September 28
African Tigers will host its first-ever heritage soccer tournament at Eureka High School, kicking off at 08:00. Seven soccer clubs from across Gauteng will compete in the U8, U11 and U12 tournament in Springs.
• October 17
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host their annual golf day event at 10:30 at Pollak Park Golf Club. To RSVP or enquire about prices, call Barbara-Ann Day on 082 450 1130. RSVPs should be completed before October 10.

• Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00 and calls on all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photograph of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.
