Juluka 11 Foundation celebrates elders with Heritage Day event in Kwa-Thema

Kwa-Thema’s elderly residents were treated to a day of joy and celebration when the Juluka 11 Foundation hosted its second Heritage Day event at the Old Age Home, filled with colour, song, dance

Kwa-Thema – Juluka 11 Foundation hosted a Heritage Day celebration for pensioners at Kwa-Thema Old Age Home last Wednesday.

The initiative is the brainchild of Lucky ‘Juluka’ Mahlangu.
“I want to thank the community, especially those who came. I want to do so much more for our elders. I have so much love and respect for them, and I hope they will impart some of the wisdom they have to our generation,” he said.

“We had this event for the first time last year, and it has been a great success. I could not have done any of it without the contributions I got from local business people,” Mahlangu added.

He thanked Food Town Hyper Savemoor, Local Lifestyle, Debonairs Duduza Rank, and some of his friends for their support.
The day was filled with colour, songs, dancing and good food.
