St Mary Magdalene’s Guild’s kids festival brings joy and fundraising success to Kwa-Thema
St Mary Magdalene’s Guild brought the community together for a lively Kids Festival at St Barnabas Anglican Church - a day of fun, creativity, and connection that raised funds for the church.
Kwa-Thema – St Mary Magdalene’s Guild hosted a vibrant Kids Festival at St Barnabas Anglican Church on October 4.
This church fundraising event aimed to raise funds while providing children with a joyful day filled with fun, creativity, and community connection.
The event featured various engaging activities, including go-karts, jumping castles, face painting, Minion-themed dancing, treats, and live music.

“All activities enabled participants to express themselves creatively.
“Through play-based experiences, children could develop social skills, create lasting memories with family and friends, and learn in an interactive environment,” said St Mary’s group leader, Mathapelo Malinga.
The atmosphere was lively and festive from start to finish. St Mary Magdalene’s Guild thanks everyone whose efforts and support helped make the event a great success.
The day was a wonderful celebration of community spirit and the joy of childhood, all while supporting the church’s mission.
