Kwa-Thema – EMPD Eastern Region Task Team officers recovered a hijacked vehicle on October 14 on Ndungwane Street in Kwa-Thema.

City of Ekurhuleni spokesperson Zweli Dlamini explained that officers received information about the whereabouts of a hijacked motor vehicle.

“The motor vehicle was found abandoned. Officers inspected the silver Toyota Corolla and discovered that it had been hijacked in Springs.

“All the necessary stakeholders were summoned, and the vehicle was later taken to a police station,” he said.
