Planned water interruption to affect Duduza and surrounding areas on Wednesday

The CoE will repair a leaking water valve on Wednesday. Five roving tankers will assist affected residents.

Duduza – The CoE has announced a planned water supply interruption scheduled for October 22, as technicians carry out urgent repairs on a leaking water valve.

The maintenance work will take place from 08:00 to 18:00, affecting several areas, including Duduza, Masechaba, Bluegum View, Cool Breeze, Tsakani extensions 19, 20 and 21, Langaville, John Dube Village, and Roseview.

To assist residents during the temporary outage, the city will deploy five roving water tankers to ensure continued access to water for essential use.

Residents are advised to keep their taps closed and not leave them unattended during the interruption period to prevent potential water loss or damage once the supply is restored.

“We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation while we complete these essential repairs,” said city spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.
