Langaville artist Kgau returns to music with love-inspired hit Rato Laka Dumela

After years away, Kgau returns with a heartfelt Afropop love anthem.

Tsakani – After a hiatus from the music scene, Kgau is back with a song titled Rato Laka Dumela. Born and bred in Limpopo but now residing in Langaville, Kgaogelo Sebaka, also known as Kgau, is a musician, performing artist, songwriter, and videographer/photographer.

“In 2014, I released my first hip-hop studio album titled The Red Album. It features hits like Champagne, This Life, and Paper Chasing featuring Mawesh and Veli Yako from Duduza. After the release of that album, I halted recording music due to some personal reasons,” he said. “

He explained that during all these years of not recording music, he focused on videography, shooting weddings, engagement parties, and couples’ anniversary celebrations.

“That’s where the inspiration came from for me to release a sweet Afropop love song, Rato Laka Dumela,” he said.

“The song is now making waves on various radio stations. So far, the feedback has been positive and encouraging me to work on an album. I worked with Ayanda Nkosi and Ishmael Masemola on production,” he added.

Rato Laka Dumela is for you and will be available on all digital platforms soon.
