SAPS Ekurhuleni District honours dedicated officers and partners during Excellence Awards ceremony in Alberton

The SAPS Ekurhuleni District recognised exceptional officers and partners during a prestigious Excellence Awards ceremony at the Alberton Civic Centre on Friday evening.

Alberton – In an effort to motivate members and recognise excellence, SAPS Ekurhuleni District hosted the #ExcellenceAwards Ceremony at Alberton Civic Centre on the evening of October 31.

The event was attended by MMC Sizakele Masuku from the Department of Community Safety, CPF Board Provincial Secretary Pearl Manqele, EMPD Deputy Director Cebisile Ntombizodwa Ximba, and stakeholders from Metropolitan, Liquor Junction, 1 Track, Avbob, Prins Shazaad, Malas Tyres, Old Mutual, Arion Total, Full Circle Memories, SSG Security, Time of Care Trust and Polmed.

Awards were presented to SAPS members and stakeholders across various categories for their outstanding performance in different components.

The winners received awards in the following categories:
• Admin Employee of the year level 1-4 – Handyperson LD Mulaudzi
• Admin Employee of the year level 5-7 – PAC P Ndlovu
• Admin Employee of the year level 8-12 – Lieutenant Colonel Henstock
• Vispol and operations employee of the year level 5-7 – Sergeant NM Ndlagamandla
• Vispol and operations employee of the year level 8-12 – Colonel N Pubalakan
• Detective and forensic employee of the year level 5-7 – Warrant Officer JAL Burger
• Detective and forensic employee of the year level 8-12 – Colonel MP Pienaar
• FCS investigator of the year level 5-7 – Sergeant M F Zitha
• FCS investigator of the year level 8-12 – Lieuteant Colonel AHC Veldman
