The handover of 120 food parcels was done on December 6, and an additional 50 parcels were handed over on December 9.

Kwa-Thema – Mqoqiwokuhle Care Projects NPO, in collaboration with Sibongile Myeka, distributed food parcels as part of the NPO’s initiative.

The handover of 120 food parcels was done on December 6, and an additional 50 parcels were handed over on December 9.

This initiative was funded through various sponsorships from individuals and businesses, including Ekhaya Shopping Centre, Debonairs Pizza, Shoprite, Bophelong, and many others.

NPO chairperson Prisca Nkosi said they wanted to make elders feel special, loved and seen through their helping hand.

“Elders need to be taken care of, with love and harmony. It is the festive season, and many need all the help they can get.

“As a community, we can unite and work collaboratively to help where we can,” she said.

Nkosi thanked all stakeholders and individuals for their support. She further thanked Myeka for supporting their vision.
