Tshipi-Noto supports special needs schools through charity golf day

Tshipi-Noto Funeral Home has handed over proceeds from its annual Charity Golf Day to two special needs schools in Kwa-Thema and Tsakani, reaffirming its commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities.

Tshipi-Noto Funeral Home hosted their annual Charity Golf Day Proceeds Handover at Bokamoso Lodge and Conference Centre on Friday.

“Our beneficiaries are two schools located in the townships of Kwa-Thema and Tsakani. These public schools cater to learners who have special educational needs

“Their learners are unable to cope with the traditional mainstream education. Therefore, it requires individual attention as well as learner-centric teaching methods,” explained Gontse Tshipi from the funeral home.

She said the company believes it has a responsibility and duty to partner with such institutions.

“Our social initiatives stretch further, touching on other aspects that we face as challenges in our society, such as poverty, poor health and poor wellbeing.

“We have embarked on countless food, clothing drives, and sanitary pads drives,” she added.

Tshipi also said the company has sponsored students with electronic devices to support their education.

“As Tshipi-Noto grows, we will continue to positively impact the communities in which we serve.
We will continue to touch lives.

Tshipi also announced the establishment of a foundation: The Goodwill Foundation. The foundation is named after their late father, Tebogo Goodwill Tshipi.

Phelang and Matshidiso Schools each received R30 000. Sthembile Mathonsi and Job Molantoa received the cheque on behalf of Phelang.

“We are here to render our token of gratitude to Tshipi-Noto. We have come a long way with them. Whenever I touch on the lives of the children that we are serving, I become so emotional.

“We have always known that we can depend on you, and you are just a phone call away. So thank you,” she said.

The charity golf day took place on October 24 at Ebotse Golf Estate in Benoni.
