Person of interest in Almera robberies questioned

A man was taken into custody at Duduza Police Station, after a spate of house robberies in Kwa-Thema.
According to Duduza SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka, the man reported to the police station on Thursday morning.
He is being questioned in connection with a string of robberies that happened in Kwa-Thema last week.

Residents allege that two men, driving a white Almera, walked into their homes and robbed them at gunpoint.
There are also claims that some local taxi drivers with the police tried to corner the said Almera in Kwa-Thema on Wednesday night.
Manaka concluded that the man has not been charged or arrested.
