Duduza Fire Station employee found dead in Bluegum View as police launch inquest investigation

A man employed at the Duduza Fire Station was found dead on Mbeki Street in Bluegum View on Thursday morning.

Duduza – Duduza police have opened an inquest docket following the discovery of the body of a man employed at the Duduza Fire Station in Bluegum View.

According to Ekurhuleni District communication officer Captain Neldah Sekgobela, the deceased was found on Mbeki Street on June 25 at approximately 05:30.

“No visible injuries were found on the deceased’s body at the scene.”

The circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain unknown, and investigations are continuing.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased, pending the investigation and notification of the next of kin.
