Duduza – Duduza SAPS have launched a manhunt after a 36-year-old male was stabbed on July 19 along Chris Hani Street, Bluegum View.

According to Duduza SAPS social crime prevention coordinator and communications officer, Constable Nobuhle Mnisi, it is alleged that the deceased was stabbed once in his left upper shoulder by another man known to him.

“The police traced the suspect at his place of residence but did not find him.

“During the trace, the police were able to seize a weapon which is suspected to be the murder weapon,” she said.

A murder case has been opened and police are working to find and arrest the suspect.
