Mother and her two children found dead in Thubelisha

Tsakani – A woman and her two children were found dead due to suspected poisoning on Tuesday afternoon.

Regional police spokesperson Captain Neldah Sekgobela confirmed that the police opened an inquest docket after the bodies were found at an address on Njelele Street, Thubelisha, Tsakani.

“The body of a female (37) was found lying on the bed with a girl (nine). It is alleged that all the deceased died due to poisoning.

“They were declared dead at the scene by EMS personnel,” she added.

The family declined to comment on the matter.
