Suspect shoots man at taxi rank

Duduza – A 53-year-old man was gunned down at the Ext 15 taxi rank in Bluegumview on Friday afternoon.

It is alleged the male stood next to a minibus taxi when an unknown man approached him and shot him multiple times, killing him instantly.

The gunman then got into a white Toyota sedan with three occupants and drove off.

Duduza SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka said the motive for the killing is unknown, and the perpetrators are unknown at this stage.

The police ask anyone with information about the incident to call the Duduza SAPS on 100 810 6093.
