Man nabbed for drugs

After an intensive surveillance, EMPD Officers moved in on the Langaville resident.

On Sunday the EMPD Tactical Response Unit Officers arrested a 37-year-old male and narcotics worth R650 were seized.

After intensive surveillance, EMPD officers moved in on the Langaville resident.

According to EMPD spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Kelebogile Thepa, the man was found with 29 small bags of crystal meth, 24 small bags of khat including the brownie and R100 in cash.

He was handcuffed and taken to the Tsakane Police Station.

The man is facing charges of possession and possible dealing in illicit substances and is expected to appear at the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court soon.
