• The Embraced Woman NPO will be hosting an International Women’s Day celebration, which will be taking place at Mugg & Bean in Springs Mall from 10:00. The celebration aims to honour and uplift women in the community, creating a space for connection, empowerment, and recognition of the incredible contributions women make in society. The St Barnabas Anglican Church annual golf fundraiser will take place at the Pollak Park Golf Club, with registration starting at 08:00 and the event at 10:00. The event is aimed at helping community initiatives, including a new church hall and an ECD training centre. Sponsorship package will be available. • Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00 and calls on all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photograph of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.

• The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park. It runs from 08:00 to 13:00.
