Feed a Child, Feed a Nation NPO feeds over 50 Tsakani children during school holiday programme
More than 50 children received sandwiches, soft drinks and snacks after attending holiday classes as the organisation continues its fight against hunger in the community.
Tsakani – Feed a Child, Feed a Nation NPO fed over 50 children during their feeding scheme initiative on July 15.
Learners received sandwiches, soft drinks and snacks after attending extra classes during school holidays.
The organisation received support from Kulie Gehm from Yahwe Ubuntu Foundation. NPO founder Gugu Nhlengethwa said seeing the children happy warms her heart.

“The children were very happy to receive sandwiches after a long day of attending holiday programmes.
“Many attended on an empty stomach and still had to return home where there is nothing to eat.
“Our aim is to combat poverty and eliminate hunger in our community of Tsakani,” she said.
Nhlengethwa added that the organisation remains committed to supporting vulnerable children through regular feeding initiatives and hopes more stakeholders will come on board to help expand its reach.
