• Local Lifestyle Lounge will host the fourth annual Kay Malome Birthday Celebration on August 9 at 13168 Tolashe Street, Kwa-Thema. The all-black themed event will feature performances by Rooi, Pikza, Sizwe M (CYFM) and many more. Food, drinks and hubbly will be available for sale at the venue. •Women are invited to the Gather and Glow – Women’s Wellness Experience at Sgegede Acres from 09:30. The event will feature conversations on financial wellness, emotional well-being, beauty and health. Attendees are encouraged to dress elegantly in beige, neutral tones with a touch of pink. • The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park. It runs from 08:00 to 13:00.
