Duduza artist set to release new project aimed at uniting Duduza

Faithful Molefe is gearing up to release his new album titled Exosphere, a project dedicated to uniting young people musically.

Duduza – Faithful Molefe, professionally known as Frnkenstein_Jr, a musical genius and artist preparing to release Exosphere, an ambitious body of work that challenges conventional ideas of music, identity and belonging while giving a powerful voice to the young creatives who exist outside the traditional boundaries of popular culture.

According to him, Exosphere is being positioned as a social experiment, an artistic experience and a statement of elevation, created and curated for the outcasts of the culture.

His concept for Exosphere draws inspiration from the highest layer of Earth’s atmosphere, the point where it gradually fades into outer space. For Molefe, that becomes more than a scientific reference.

“It is a metaphor for growth, freedom and escaping the gravity of limitation. The album speaks to anyone who has ever felt like an outsider, anyone who has had to create their own lane because the existing one did not have space for them.

“You were never meant to stay at ground level. From the streets and the pressure, through the atmosphere and into the unknown, I invite listeners to experience a different frequency, one where identity is not dictated by circumstance and where being different becomes a source of power,” said Molefe.

At the centre of Molefe’s artistic journey is a deep desire to put Duduza on the map.

Rather than viewing his township background as something to escape, he is transforming it into part of his creative identity and using his platform to demonstrate what can emerge from often-overlooked communities.

“Exosphere represents a different narrative about township youth. It is a declaration that creativity can come from anywhere.

“That an artist from Duduza can engage with global youth culture while remaining deeply connected to home.

“And that townships should not only be recognised for their challenges, but also for their innovation, imagination, talent and cultural contribution,” he said.

Through music, visuals and collaborations across different creative disciplines, Molefe hopes to create a world around Exosphere that connects Duduza with a much larger cultural conversation.

The upcoming project arrives at an important stage in Exosphere’s career, following a growing list of achievements that demonstrate his ability to move between music, commercial creativity and wider youth culture.

His growing accolades include a Stogie Freestyle Friday appearance on Channel O, participation in Red Bull 64 Bars, winning AMPD Rap on the Beat, and contributing to a chart-topping single through Sportscene Studios, which has accumulated more than 20,000 streams.

He was also selected as a Top 20 finalist for Back to the City 2025, competing against a large pool of submissions, while his creative portfolio includes a music video collaboration with Sho Madjozi for Trickshot.

His commercial credentials extend beyond music, including an advertisement with Nike in 2021 and a win of an Industry Nite experience courtesy of AMPD Studios, where he was surrounded by prominent industry and celebrity guests.

Molefe is building a universe for the misunderstood, the unconventional and the unapologetically different and inviting Duduza to rise with him.
