Tsakani – Local SAPS, CPF members and many other law enforcement agencies and stakeholders joined forces to keep Michael Mkhwanazi Primary School clean on September 11.

“We dedicated our time to reflect on our commitment to community services and foster a safer school environment.

“The initiative was aimed at giving back to the school and community to build trust, enhance our reputation, and contribute to long-term social sustainability,” explained CPF chairperson, Mncedisi Somyo.

Somyo explained that the Tsakane SAPS soccer team uses the school field for their home games, saying that is how they saw the need for maintenance at the school.

“The clean-up campaign was aimed not only to keep the school clean but as a manner of saying thank you to the school for entrusting us with their facility.

“Giving back to the community is a multifaceted practice that benefits both organisations and society.

“It also strengthens social ties, enhances reputation, and supports sustainable growth,” he added.

“It promotes service delivery and social responsibility, unity and diversity, social justice and human rights, perseverance, and resilience.”
