On Saturday Izinyoka visited Alex City in Linksfield for the second round of the SAB season.
The game ended with a two all draw, as both teams looked set to take home the points.
Izinyoka were optimistic going into the game, scoring five minutes into kick-off through a tap in by Thembinkosi”Bashin”Mbamba.
The City boys also came back early, equalising the score to 1-1 in the first half.
The coaches had to dig deep in the dressing room, to revive the players.
Second half began, and saw a magnificent goal scored by Sthembiso”Matikiti”Hlope outside the 18 yard area, in the 68th minute.
Izinyoka started to dominate the game,sharing the ball and getting into spaces in the wet rainy conditions, a mistake by defense led to Alex City’s second equaliser in the 90th minute.
The final score was Alex City 2 – 2 Izinyoka FC.
Izinyoka play their next game at home at the Jim Fouche grounds on Sunday, kick off is at 3pm.
