Following their 2-0 win against African Gunners on Sunday, Duduza-based Izinyoka FC have safely booked a spot as SAB League winners.
The team collected 83 points in the season with two remaining games, while Luso Africa number two on the log can only reach 81 points if they win all their remaining games.
The goals came in the last 15 minutes of the game, sealing the victory for the team.
Izinyoka FC will play against Barcelona at Boksburg City Stadium tomorrow, and end their season on June 22 playing in Nigel’s Jim Fouche Stadium. Both matches kick off at 3pm.
Winning the remaining games is the team’s goal, while they focus on the upcoming play-offs, which provide a lifeline for the team to be promoted to the SAFA Second Division league next season.
