Kwatsaduza boxers win
The Geo Maroon young boxers came home with a win to make Kwatsaduza proud.
About eight amateur boxers from the Geo Maroon Boxing Club in KwaThema were fighting in a Boksburg boxing tournament on Saturday.
According to coach, Themba Zulu the young boxers played well, showing off their boxing skills in the ring.
He says the confident Siyabulela Vikisi,Samuel Ishmael and Sifiso Msiza displayed the best boxing, winning their fights by higher points.
Thembinkosi Nkosi who also fought well lost his fight.
Following his promise to the residents of Kwatsaduza of only registering wins under his name, Siyabulela Vikisi kept his promise.
The young boxers brought home a trophy and medals as the symbols of their victory.
“I have no doubt that Thembinkosi will win his next fight,” said a confident Zulu.
He said he is confident that his young boys will take boxing to the next level in this country.
He believes that in order for these young boxers to do well in the ring they need the support from the community, friends and parents.
