Thembi FC draws with Highland
The Tsamaya game between the Thembi FC and Highland ended in a draw of 1-1.
The game was played on Sunday at the Tlakula ground in KwaThema.
The freezing wind on the day surely was one major reason that the supporters did not come in large numbers to watch the game.
Highland scored the first goal through Hendry Hempe’s foot. He put the ball behind the net 20 minutes after the start of the first half.
Thembi’s Doctor Zwane scored an equalising goal a few minutes after Highland’s goal.
Just after 10 minutes following Doctor’s goal, the referee blew the whistle to end the first half of the game.
The players tried their best to score other goals for their teams during the second half of the game but the game was not easy for them.
Because both teams failed to score another goal during the game’s second half, the game ended with an overall score of 1-1.
