Lusitano’s U/15 doing well
After the U/15 Lusitano team was crowned the Springs Local Football Association (SLFA) season’s champions, they are still focused and spend more time training.
Lusitano’s U/15 team coach, Johnny Kunene said the team’s hard work paid off after they were announced as last season’s champions.
He says competing with the toughest teams did not make it easy for his team to win the league.
“There were teams that were not easy to defeat during the games but we continued working much harder to ensure that we came out on top,” said Kunene.
He said the support that the team received from the community and their sponsor is what made them push until the end.
In an attempt to keep their championship title in this 2014/2015 SLFA season, they won 3-1 when playing against Boka Juniors on Saturday at the KwaThema Sports Complex.
