Lesego dreams of playing for Banyana-banyana
Lesego Masedi Sibano from KwaThema has been selected to join the national soccer junior team.
She currently plays for Ayoba-Yo Youth Soccer Academy’s U/15 team.
She has already started her training sessions with the team from Sunday at the High Performance Centre.
Lesego was selected to join the team during the games that were held in Germiston about two weeks ago.
Before joining the national junior team, Lesego played in the district team, then the provincial games and is now expected to show off her soccer skills in the field when playing in the national team.
Her coach, Innocent Mayoyo, says he is proud of Lesego’s achievement.
“She is a born soccer star and she will continue to shine until she plays for Banyana-banyana,” believes Mayoyo.
