World XI wins against Sporo
The Tsamaya Soccer League game was on Sunday at the Tsakane grounds.
It was clear without a shadow of a doubt that both teams were prepared for the match.
World XI won the match with only one goal against Sporo who did not score.
Their first goal was put behind the net 20 minutes into the match.
It was clear that the game was much more difficult for the teachers’ team as the team could not manage to score a goal until the end of the game.
After taking a short break during the half time of the game, the referee blew the whistle for the start of the second half of the game.
Supporters who came out in large numbers to give support to their teams did not give up but continued to show their support.
Despite a possible defeat, Sporo’s fans sang songs of victory to give more energy to the players on the pitch.
However, it was too late for Sporo to equalise with World XI and the game ended with WorldXI going home with a 1-0 victory.
