Falcons and Peace brothers draw

Springs Local Football Association (SLFA) premier league game saw Falcons and Peace brothers getting one goal each.

The game was played at the KwaThema Sports Complex on Sunday.

Scoring a goal was not easy for either team.

Soccer fans were present at the complex to watch how the Young Peace Brothers were going to perform on the day as they are sitting on the top of the league.

The Mighty Falcons’ coaches and supporters did a good job to support the team while facing the opponent on the pitch.

Referee ended the first half of the game after both teams failed to score.

However, in the second half, the game changed.

The first team to put the ball behind the net was the Falcons through Mfundo Memani’s foot.

Breaking one of the football laws by the Falcon’s player was the Peace Brothers’ ticket to equalising.

Sibongiseni Ginya of Peace Brothers used the chance granted to the team by the referee wisely as the opponent was punished by giving the Peace Brothers a chance to kick the penalty.

Ginya’s penalty brought back his team’s respect in the league.

The score of 1-1 was what the teams managed to put in their bags.
